Tomes
Tomes are Core books, if the goal is to use Adherlwyn as a complete campaign setting, then core books are recommended.
They can also be utilized in a modular or piecemeal fashion in existing home brew campaigns to help expand on world building and content.
Modules
Modules are adventures. They vary in complexity, difficulty, and style.
They can be used stand alone one-shots or as chapters to larger stories, as indicated by their position in a stated series.
THE FREE CITY
Nestled snugly in the heart of the Karlissian Kingdom and just scratching the southernmost shores of the Sea of Dunston, is the largest and proudest trade city in the face of Adherlwyn, founded in the first era by the great Terrzian, Alithar is a trade city rich in goods and tradition.

There is a saying amongst those in the streets that goes, “life begins in Alithar”, and while that may seem trite, it may not be that far off. The citizens of Alithar have seen kingdoms come and go and witnessed the complete collapse and rebirth of an entire faith-based system. It has been the focal point for many of the major world events. On top of this, when Baltek decided to start his road here, it was a solid and smart choice that added profit to prestige. Nearly every type of merchandise from salt to slaves can be bought, sold, stolen, acquired, filched, pilfered, or purchased within its vast and seemingly never-ending markets. It is without question the richest city in the world.
